We didn't get eaten; although some tried

Another year in Utah for Christmas break means another year at Zoo Lights at Hogle Zoo!  Hooray!  We have had years that are freezing cold, but this year really wasn't all that bad.  And the girls even got to wear their sweet new panda bear hats from Papa.  Maybe I should have put the two of them in a cage huh?  Here are some pics from our evening:

Cambrie got to hold a real reindeer antler.  She was pretty excited that the reindeer came to visit.

My girls sitting on the elephant's trunk.  Such a perfect seat eh?

Nana and Kenzie cuddling like a momma and baby giraffe.

And if we lived under the sea, these sea creatures would be our neighbors.

Miss McKenzie laughing at the gingerbread baby.

And don't worry, the panda bear really didn't eat us.  He's tamer than he looks.

Riding on the carousel is always a hit.

Although sitting with gorillas is a new thing for us.  I think he'd make a comfy pillow.

It was warm enough that after we were done checking out the lights, we could actually play on the playground that's there.  Cambrie loved the spider web.

But really was scared that this alligator was going to eat her.  Don't worry, she didn't get eaten either.

Who would have thought that I fit in a turtle shell?  Oh wait, I'm related to a brother who can fit into a carry-on bag, that's right.

And we even have a great lil' fuzzy picture with the light-viewing crew.  If only it was this warm every year, how great would that be?
