I have friends who started counting shutdown days on Facebook. These are also the friends who had cute themes to every day including crafts and activities. I've completely lost track of how many days we've been at home. I used to rely on those friends to keep track for me. Unfortunately, now they don't even know how many days it's been since the kids first came home from school and the stay-at-home order began. (Note, I've just consulted my calendar and it's been 44 days. Anybody feeling like they can really relate to the Jaredites right about now?) I, on the other hand, haven't had any cute theme days. I have a couple main goals every day: get dressed, make sure the kids have dinner, and mainly keep the stress levels down as much as possible so we don't snap. The kids have been fabulous about keeping each other entertained. I am so grateful I have four kids. Because I feel like it's important to document what we've been up to, I've taken pictures of everything. Including what I'm seeing outside my window right now as I type this up, (cue Kelton and McKenzie chasing each other with a sword and shield).

I have a feeling I'm going to miss the simplicity of these weeks, so here we go:
Cambrie decided to sew Doomslug from "Skyward" one afternoon. What a cute little Doomslug.
I finally sewed the head back onto our nearly headless Easter Bunny. It's been a long four years for that guy.
Daxton has been getting himself dressed for family church. We are letting some of the finer points go at this point since he's putting on ties.
We put together a puzzle of Buckingham Palace that Leesa gave us. 1000 pieces and it was just right.
It inspired the kids to get out their other puzzles...all at once. That was not as fun...
The boys each got a kite in their Easter basket. They have been desperate for just the right amount of wind to go fly them.
We got hit with ANOTHER nine inches of snow. I wish I had happy things to say about nine inches of snow at this point in the season....it's helping our new sod grow?
Cambrie decided to sort all of the pennies in her piggy bank by year.
Jeremy also taught her how to change the oil in his car.
I decided to paint a stencil design in my room. It was rather spur-of-the-moment, but I am so happy with how it turned out. My fingers and hands are also so happy that it's done.
It's a good thing that we have an ample supply of paper cups and plates in our food storage so that the kids can turn them into castles!
McKenzie made Daxton a #1 Daxton medal, and the kid has worn it for three days straight. He's pretty proud of his medal.
I decided to swap my trainer ride for a ride outside. I felt like a human for the first time in a month! It was glorious.
Rachel also needed a hiking buddy. We decided that we had enough social distancing for awhile, and drove up to Fort Collins to hike Horsetooth Falls. It was a simple and easy hike, but still nice to be outside. We weren't the only ones with the idea and the parking lot and trail were crowded.
But I feel like this picture might sum things up pretty well. "Things are good. We're doing great. I'm feeling fine." How many more weeks of this?
