Even amidst all of the traveling and adventures we've been having, we still have days at home that are pretty similar to days at home in Colorado. These next pics are capturing that:
This is home for the six weeks while we're here.
It has a great backyard that is perfect for wrestling.
Soccer games.
Fairy gardens (the big reveal to come later).
Chalk drawings (do you like how the girls made the streets curvy just like the ones here in England?)
And a lot of running around.
When we're not outside, we're inside playing with Tiawna.
Feeding Tiawna.
Barking like Tiawna.
Getting in trouble.
Playing with balloons.
Playing with cars in new exciting places.
Sliding down the banisters (this was only done once before we decided the tile floor was not a good landing zone).
And Daxton has decided that he would much rather be in a big bed than in his own.
We take a lot of walks to the park, and have babysat other kids in the ward.
We celebrate birthdays. Happy birthday Leesa!
I am still training for my races and get to ride next to beautiful scenery like this near Laleham.
I still have to do laundry. It means getting creative, but we're getting it done. I have so many grass stains to pull out now that my kids are in the backyard all the time.
We take a lot of walks to the stores that are pretty close by. Along the way McKenzie likes looking at the flowering trees, and Cambrie likes the architecture.
The wagon is super handy! (Couldn't quite fit all four of us in this shot.)
Adapting to English life also means adapting to English weather. One minute it's hot and sunny (pictured above), the next it's pouring rain. How fast can we run home with a wagon full of groceries, toys and kids?
Really, the time at home is just as much fun as our time out and about. Cheers!
