One of our favorite Covid discoveries was the St. Vrain River float. It was a perfect place for beginners to float and enjoy the river. Well, when I showed up with the three boys I was highly disappointed in the St. Vrain River, it was running so high and so fast! There was no way we could float it because of the conditions. So instead of going home we decided just to stay by the shore and enjoy the sunshine. We learned that the boys could float up river in a little eddy safely so we did that for a bit before just playing in the sand. Ultimately it didn't' turn our the way we had hoped, but we still enjoyed ourselves.
