Now that Nathan is here we are starting to show him around Colorado. We thought we'd start with Vail. I love that town. The GoPro Games happened to be going on that weekend so we spent the first little bit enjoying the vendors and booths. I think our favorite event was eating ice-cream cones while watching dogs water jump. It was actually pretty cool.
We didn't plan out any sort of hike but we wanted to take advantage of our time there, so we just started walking. We walked up the ski slope and went exploring.
As we wandered we found a hill where they had held races up and down earlier in the day. Well the boys thought that sounded like an adventure so Kelton and Daxton ran up and down it. Once was enough, it was pretty steep.
Back in the village we found a botanical garden that was absolutely gorgeous.
Too soon it was time to head back home. We took Loveland Pass for the snow and the views. We were not disappointed.
