The orchestra at Legacy stepped up their game this year for the Christmas concert. There was a screen behind the performers showing festive scenes. During one song we had a couple of electric guitars to add a fun element to the songs. Cambrie may have complained because of the untrained concert orchestra kids, but honestly I thought it all sounded fabulous and I'm glad I could go. I have to say, being available to attend all of my kids' various concerts, games, meets, recitals and comps is a pretty special thing for me.
After the recital I was thrilled to see a genuine smile from her as she talked with some of the members of her orchestra. This girl is thriving right now in life and I love being along for the ride.
