Pretty, pretty princess
A week after Easter has passed, Cambrie finally got to wear her Easter dress. It's a shame that she didn't really know what was going on, because I was really excited. Isn't she pretty?

To dye, or not to dye
"Hello, this is the National Broadcasting Corporation informing you of our new transmitter antennae..."
I have always had this complex about dying my hair. I think that dye looks like a lot of fun, so much fun in fact that I can see it being very addicting. Addicting enough to spend a lot of money on it, so I have always avoided it. But after the "I'm sick of looking like a mom" chat at the Relief Society activity, I realized how tired I was of my hair always looking the same no matter what kind of hair cut I got. So I decided to take the plunge. Today I trusted my hair to Kristen. I didn't know exactly what I wanted for the color or cut, I just wanted it to be noticeably different....what do you think?
Personally, I love it. Jeremy came home and wondered what happened to his wife-apparently I'm too good looking now ;) I am curious to see what this first dye leads to. I guess only the future can tell. Bye, bye boring dishwater brownish/blondish hair.

Our Easter Weekend
Hooray for eggs! Hooray for baskets! Hooray for the Easter Bunny! Hooray for new Easter dresses! Hooray for Easter dinner! -------------Boo runny noses! Boo sad tears! Boo baby fevers!
That's right. Our Easter weekend wasn't exactly as we had imagined it. Instead of a fun-filled curious holiday of exploration, it was a holiday of Tylenol and cuddling. Poor Cambrie began to feel crumby at the Easter egg hunt. She wasn't at all interested at swinging on the swings, playing with the other babies, or picking up colorful eggs. She only wanted to be held and cuddled. At least got some pictures of her smiling. We weren't sure exactly what was bugging her, but we thought it would pass.

That didn't change Saturday night when we wanted to color eggs. She didn't really want to participate. She just wanted to go to sleep. Of course, that didn't stop up from getting pictures with her and accidentally dying her hand blue...oops.

That night I got all excited about putting her basket together and began to have visions of her crawling towards it then dumping everything onto the floor. Sunday morning rolled around and she didn't even want to sit on the ground. Sure she looked at a couple of eggs, but that was after we put them in her hands. I started looking at the pictures I was taking and realized that she looked really sick. I felt so bad that we put her right to bed. So much for the Easter Bunny.
Too soon it was time to get her ready for church. I was so excited about her pretty dress and showing her off at church. I had just finished the bow the night before. But 12:00 rolled around and she was still sleeping, so Jeremy went to church alone. 1:00 rolled around and she was still sleeping. 2:00 rolled around and she finally woke up with a fever of 102.5. I got a little scared about this number. When exactly are you supposed to call the doctor? I no longer felt bad about her not being able to wear her Easter dress, I just wanted her to feel better. I gave her some Tylenol and then we just cuddled on the couch all afternoon.
She was at least awake during Easter dinner. We were able to eat the delicious ham, salad, rolls, and dessert while she ate her little Easter treats (yummy peach stars). As we were visiting and letting dinner digest, Cambrie just sat there looking more and more pathetic in Jeremy's arms. I felt so bad for her little body.
It is now Monday and she's still not feeling up-to-par. Her fever has gone down, but she is still sleeping most of the day. Poor little girl. So much for her first Easter huh? I guess she'll have to wear her dress next week at church.

Cruisin'
If you haven't checked our blog every hour for the past few days, you may feel a little behind. Sorry, there's an onslaught of posts. First there was our trip, then St. Patrick's Day, then me feeling guilty for not posting more videos for Cambrie's grandparents. Good luck catching up!
This 2-part video is a crawling Cambrie update. She's come a long way in the last few weeks.
Hide & Seek
The is really Cruisin' Part 2. It's amazing to me that she can find me anywhere-bedroom, closet, bathroom...oh boy. :)
Love Me Tissues
Cambrie has always loved playing with paper. Today as she was ripping apart my napkin from lunch, I realized that it looked like she was playing with flower petals. "He loves me, he loves me not." But what a silly game for her to play, who couldn't love sweet Cranburs? (Nickname courtesy of Uncle D)
Even though the window is black there really is a video there. Just push play (once or twice)

Our Resident Leprechaun
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! This year the Rogers have their own little leprechaun crawling around the house causing mischief. She crawls from room to room taking toys out of their boxes and eating whatever gets in her way. We were lucky to catch her on film. Where do you think she's hiding her pot of gold?
