Gymtastics

McKenzie has had such a great time back at GU.  She missed her friends and teammates this last year and I'm seeing nothing bur smiles from her at her meets and at practice.  

We had been worried about how this sudden level 7 season would go, and we've been pleasantly surprised.  McKenzie has still walked away as a "clinky girl" with multiple medals from her events.  She even earned her level 8 move-up score.  

One of the unexpected side effects from our insane gym-hopping year, is that it means we have made so many friends in the gymnastics community.  At one meet we ran into Eden and Lucy again.  The nuggie baddies were back!  When we show up at meets we get to visit, laugh, and cheer each other on.  It's been pretty great.  

I'm just super proud of this girl for rolling with the punches and continuing to do what she loves amid all of the obstacles she's run into.
