Jeremy's birthday was super chill. He was able to spend the day doing whatever workouts he wanted without worrying about time or other bothersome responsibilities. (He did three. He earned his cake!) Jeremy wanted to kids to be part of the celebration, so they chose what we ate for dinner that night-pizza! We found a new pizza joint where everyone chose their own personal-sized pizza. We had a pizza feast!
The kids had wrapped his gifts the night before so they were very anxious for when it was time to open them. Kelton helped choose new cufflinks for Jer.
McKenzie chose a fan so he wouldn't get so hot biking in the basement.
Cambrie wanted him to have a new chair so he can sit comfortably at her soccer games.
The box for the chair made a perfect boat-at least until it ripped and sank.
Almost everyone was smiling!
Singing "Happy Birthday" and blowing out candles is more complicated than it appears apparently. We lit his candles three times before he blew them out. All the other kids beat him to it.
After we had our fill of black forest cake we went downstairs to camp out and watch a movie. Three of the four kiddos watched all of "Pete's Dragon" comfortably snuggled in the tent. Daxton spent the time walking in circles and stealing remotes. He's very good at that. Happy 35th hun!
(Thought I forgot to mention that you forgot your own birthday huh? Not quite!)
